ABOUT

Nieves Alberruche, PhD in Fine Arts, conducts her interdisciplinary investigation as a researcher, studying the interactions between nature and spaces in art. In these years this research is further expanded towards experimentations based on installations, inquiring on the contamination between memory and poetic space.

Fascinated by the charm of Rome, she later establishes there her residence. This experience will take her towards the retrieval of her academic and figurative resources of her Spanish debut, passing also through an intense collaboration with Spanish cultural institutions. These resources are enriched and transformed by a visionary and contemporary perspective.

She has displayed her works in the Real Academia de España en Roma, in Rome’s Casa dell’Architettura, in the 22nd International Istanbul with The Istituto Italiano di Cultura, ArtFair, in the De Crescenzo & Viesti gallery in Rome, in Naple’s Palazzo delle Arti, in the Romanian Academy in Rome, in the 14th West Art Fair held in Shangai in 2011, in Frascati’s Scuderie Aldobrandini museum and in Rome’s Crocetti museum.

Some of her works are part of the International Union of Archeology and Art History Studies in Rome EEHAR permanent collection, as well as the Scuderie Aldobrandini museum in Frascati and numerous private collections.
